K. Potter was born and educated in New York State. Early in her childhood
she realized art would be her a lifelong passion. She has studied and painted
wherever she has lived and for the past 15 years has lived in Bluffton,
South Carolina. During this period she has maintained studio and gallery
affiliations in Savannah, Georgia.
“Creativity is the key ingredient in my artistic
pursuit”, Potter states. “To question what, why, and how to
do it differently than experienced before.” This philosophy has
led to requests for lessons from various art groups and she is eager to
share her art process with others. Potter had her first solo show in 1978 and has since had over 20 more solo shows. Since she first was first accepted into a juried show in 1982 many juried shows have followed with various awards and prizes. Lynda has had her art published in five books and is listed in the national register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals in the 2003-4 edition. She teaches regularly and does watermedia workshops for art groups. Lynda’s work is in collections both private and corporate in various countries. Currently she has her home studio where she can be contacted at :843-757-5641, fax or phone, and email: landspotter@hargray.com
